Ricordea yuma (Orange)
The orange variety of this Ricordea is collected in limited numbers and is in high demand. It has a blueish base with orange berry shaped tentacles. It thrives in low to medium light and low to moderate flow.

Montipora undata (Idaho Grape)
Idaho Grape is a small polyp stoney coral (SPS). It requires high light and enjoys moderate to high flow. The montipora is a fast growing coral that is easy to keep when in the correct conditions. An excellent beginners coral.

Chalices are often seen in the shape of a cup, chalice corals grow thin and flat with many bumps and eyes, sometimes in a plating fashion, and sometimes encrusting.

The clavularia Glove Polyp is another good choice for the beginner. It comes in a variety of shapes and colors and is one of the easier corals to care for. It requires moderate water flow and lighting.
